       Our speaker will be our Oklahoma Senator Jim Halligan who will share          with us some of the activities he has witnessed at the state capitol this year.  I'm sure he will be very informative.  We hope you can join us and will bring your questions for Senator Halligan.

Nov. 17, 2009       Payne County GOP  Meeting
                           7:00 p.m. Quality Inn, 2515 W. 6th Stillwater, OK
                           Our speaker will be State Representative John       Wright.  Rep. Wright serves the 76th House District (Tulsa area) and is the Majority Caucus Chairman of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.  Rep. Wright has announced his candidacy for Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor. 


Nov. 19, 2009       

"Meet and Greet" reception for Shawn Hime on Thurs                                                                                         day, November 19th from 4:00-5:30 (right before the OSU vs. Colorado football game) at the Cimarron Hotel and Suites (315 N. Husband, Stillwater).  Mr. Hime is the Enid Superintendent of Schools and Candidate for Oklahoma Superintendent of Public Instruction.  The event is being hosted by Oklahoma Senator Dr. Jim and Ann Halligan, Oklahoma Representative Dr. Lee and Dr. Frank Denney, Stillwater Superintendent Dr. Ann and Tracy Caine, and the Honorable Wes and Lou Watkins.  A light buffet will be provided from 4:00-5:30, with remarks at 4:30.


We will not have a county meeting in December. 

Our next county meeting will be Tuesday, January 19th at 7:00 p.m. at the Quality Inn of Stillwater.  Our speaker will be Jason Reese, Candidate for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner.  Be watching for emails in December and January with additional details.
